The extruder is mainly composed of screw, barrel, transmission system, head connector and electrical control box.
(1) Screw
It is the key part to complete the transportation and plasticization of plastics. Because of its rotation, it pushes the plastics forward, so as to achieve the purpose of compaction, melting, mixing and homogenization. The screw thread is composed of different functional sections, so as to achieve better conveying, compaction, mixing, plasticizing effect and high output. The screw material is made of high quality nitriding steel (38CrMoAlA) by fine machining, nitriding and grinding. It has high corrosion resistance, wear resistance and long service life.
(2) Barrel
The barrel is made of nitrided steel. The inner hole is nitrided to achieve higher hardness, better wear resistance and certain corrosion resistance. There are five groups of heaters on the outer surface of the barrel. The heat is transferred from the barrel to the plastic to melt and plasticize the plastic. There are five temperature measuring points in each part of the barrel, It can be automatically controlled within the temperature range of plastic processing. The fifth heating zone of the barrel is equipped with air circulation cooling, which can accelerate the barrel cooling and improve the accuracy of temperature control
(3) Head flange connector
It is a part connecting the head and barrel, which is heated by a heating ring to prevent the cooling of molten plastics
(4) Transmission system
The transmission system is to make the screw rotate evenly with the necessary torque under the selected process conditions, so as to complete the plasticization and transportation of plastic by the screw. In order to meet the production requirements of various specifications of plastic products, the screw should have different speeds. The machine adopts variable frequency motor to drive the gearbox directly through the coupling, and adopts speed governor to realize speed regulation, The speed of screw can be read directly by the tachometer on the control panel or by the governor
